3rd Annual George & Pat Jones Community Service Day
For our first Tri-Cities Community Service Day project we chose Mirror Ministries!! A group of Polestar employees volunteered their supplies and man-hours to paint a couple of interior rooms for this deserving organization. Kathy picked up Starbucks for all of us that morning and we got to work. Tricia and Gary MacFarlan, founders of Mirror Ministries started us out with an informational tour of their facility.
Polestar has supported Mirror Ministries throughout the years. Founded by Gary MacFarlan and his wife Tricia, Mirror Ministries is a local non-profit organization which is dedicated to helping victims of domestic human sex trafficking. Their vision is to see local victims of sex trafficking become survivors who have hope, healing, and restoration. They are a local 501c3 nonprofit working for our local community. Over the past 5 years, Polestar personnel have participated in Mirror Ministries fundraising events and have contributed $4,875.
We had a ton of fun and can’t wait to participate again.
