Welcome Donna Yasek

Donna Yasek has joined the Polestar family and will be bringing her experience in environmental cleanup to our team.  She has worked in a variety of roles at the Hanford Site, which has given her the opportunity to be involved in the majority of Hanford cleanup projects.  These projects include groundwater remediation in the 200 Area, waste remediation in the 100 Areas, facility demolition at 100-N and the 300 Area, and preparation of construction and operating permits for the Waste Treatment Plant.  Donna will be working on the sampling plans for 100-K with Tom Rodovsky and Ryan Ollero.  Donna graduated from New Mexico State University with a degree in Civil Engineering and is a board-certified safety professional.  She was a girl scout leader for 12 years and continues to volunteer with Junior Achievement and STEM.  COVID has put a pause on her volunteering so she has been working off her backlog of craft projects and experimenting with sourdough recipes.
