Welcome New Employees

Polestar is pleased to announce and welcome Lorna Dittmer and Alex Schwarz to our team.

Lorna has a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from South Dakota School of Mines & Technology and brings with her over 30 years of experience in chemistry, environmental compliance, regulatory permitting and reporting, waste site characterization, and remediation. She is currently supporting the close-out of six waste sites at the Hanford Site.

Alex is an Associate Engineer with a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Washington State University with an in-depth knowledge of Monte Carlo N-Particle (MCNP) code. Alex provides support for the technical evaluations at six waste sites at the Hanford Site.
