Welcoming New Employees

Polestar is pleased to announce and welcome Bob Birney and Jim Jacobsen to our team.

Bob is a Project Management Professional with over 30 years of experience in nuclear plant operations, construction, maintenance, root cause analysis, training, procedure writing, and ASME Section III and VIII Certification, in addition to being a DOE certified nuclear reactor operator and reactor refueling technician; and DOD Chemical Demilitarization support projects. Bob is currently providing client support as a Principal Technical Consultant for ConOps Assessment and Mentoring.

Jim has a Bachelor of Finance degree and over 35 years of experience conducting federal government procurements and managing contracts. Jim provides his extensive knowledge and leadership experience to the management of Polestar’s government, commercial and CAFTA contracts.
